Q-Type

The Q-Type were made for the 1938 World's Fair. They were actually former elevated "gate" cars. They enclosed the open vestibules and installed sliding doors to "modernize" the cars. The Q-type rode out their days on the Myrtle Ave El in downtown Brooklyn until that El was closed in the late 1960's.
