The Great Lakes state is a mixture of the Rust belt and the beginning of the bread basket for the United States. 

Chicago is the champion of transit in the area.. Cleveland runs a fine system. St Louis has a rapidly expanding light rail system. Minneapolis has opened its first Light Rail Line. Finally is the small circulator line of Kenosha WI.

Home of the oldest interurban line still running, along with the famous "L". There is METRA Commuter, including METRA Electric
  MI Detroit 9

 

Detroit's Q=Line Streetcar is opened. An Automated people mover serves as a downtown circulator. Lastly there is the people mover at the airport.
  MN Minneapolis  67   There are 2 light rail lines running the the twin cities. A third one is planned. There is also the Northstar commuter line.
  OH Cincinnati 29   This modern streetcar line opened in 2016
  OH Cleveland 14   The first city in US with subway to the airport. The old Shaker Heights line rounds out the city.
  OH Dayton 18   City runs a moderate size Electric Trolley Bus system
  WI Kenosha 39   This new line uses rebuilt PCC cars.
  WI Milwaukee     The modern streetcar lin opened in 2018
