SIRT

The SIR, also known as Staten Island Rapid Transit (SIRT) is a passenger and common carrier line on Staten Island. The Staten Island Line uses NY Subway R-44 class cars modified to meet FRA regulation. This commuter line connects The Ferry Terminal at St. George with Tottenville to the south. The line to the west is freight only with little or no traffic.
