Asian Transit

Asian transit is dominated by Japan. Japan is a traction and transit enthusiasts dream come true. Nearly every major city has some sort of rail transit, from a small tram line to a huge, big city, metro system.

South Korea is currently expanding and building subway systems in many of its cities, only Seoul is featured on this site.

Many forget that Israel is part of the Asian continent, and many don't realize that Israel has rail transit. Haifa has the world's short subway system and Jerusalem and Tel Aviv are building light rail networks

The latest additions are Singapore (2013) and China (2014). Singapore is an island nation with a rapidly growing metro system. In China nearly every large city operates, or is building a metro system

Asia is divided by countries. Please use the map here or the country links provided above. If you desire a specific city please use the City Express Listings

China (247 photos, all new) Singapore (273 photos)
Israel (21 photos) South Korea (5 photos)
Japan (735 photos)
