This is a single track stub end station. It is the southern end of the Ridge St Spur of the Broad St subway. At one time Ridge St train continued on via the Locust St subway which is now part of PATCO. Transfers are available to PATCO and the Market-Frankford Line, with a separate fare. This station is closed on Sundays.
