Toronto Transit
Scarborough RT

Toronto

The RT as it is called, was originally to be a high speed trolley or light rail line extending from the end of the Bloor-Danforth subway to Scarborough. The Provincial government forced TTC to build their ICTS system that uses linear induction motors. This is the same system Vancouver SkyTrain and the Detroit People Mover use. It is a short line, but has heavy ridership.

There are talks of rebuilding, or converting this line to subway standards.
