Toronto

Toronto retains the largest traditional streetcar system in North America. The system may not be as big as pre-subway Toronto, but it is still extensive. All but the St. Clair line (currently being rebuilt) serve the downtown core. Toronto has actually started expanding the streetcar network with the Harbourfront and Spadina lines. These lines run on reserved right-of-way over their length as well as having subway portions. Toronto has two carhouses, and still operate 2 PCC's for charters. Major expansion plans are in the planning stages
