US East Transit > Philadelphia > Subways & El's > Market-Frankford El
69th St Terminal

The El

This is a major transportation hub, located just outside of Philadelphia in Upper Darby. The former Red Arrow Interurban Line from Media and Sharon Hill still terminate here, as well as former P&W Norristown trains. It is also a major bus terminal. All this feeds the Market-Frankford trains to take them to Philadelphia.

The El station has 3 tracks with 2 platforms. One platform is for arriving trains to discharge passengers only. The other platform serves the 2 departure tracks. Just west of the station is a loop for turn trains around, as well as yards leads.
