Kamiyacho

Kamiyacho

This is a VERY busy intersection, both for cars and trams. It is a T junction for the streetcars, and all 3 sides are used. Heading through the junction are routes 2 & 6. Heading south/east is route 1 and heading south/west are routes 3 & 7. I enjoy sitting on this corner and see the trams going every which way.

Below this street is a pedestrian mall and below that is the new Astram light metro line. The trams actually have two stops at this intersection on the east and west side of the street. Both stops have skinny steps leading down to the underground mall.
