Hiroshima

Hiroshima is a wonderful city with a fantastic streetcar system. You never have to wait long for another car to come. The system was devastated by the A-bomb during WWII, but service was quickly restored. It shows that transit is an important part to bring life back to a hurt city. This is repeated in other war-torn cities over the years. Now Hiroshima is a very vibrant city in part due to the streetcars. If you are a traction fan, Hiroshima must be a stop for you when visiting Japan!
