The museum is located in a former tram depot. Tracks still connect the deport to the Melbourne tram system. At one time the historic trams would venture out of the depot onto the mainline but that stopped several years ago. The museum has a great collection of former Melbourne trams.
The museum is easy to access being just steps from the Riversdale Junction Tram stop on routes 70 &75.
