Memphis Trolley

This is the southern most section of the Main St line that ends in a single track stub in the middle of the street. This is also the connection to the Riverfront Line. Central Station was the main Illinois Central Train station for Memphis with multiple platforms on 2 levels. Amtrak still calls at this station but it only need one platform. MATA, the transit authority now owns the building. They built a major bus transit center on the west side of the building.
