Points of Interest Columbus Circle, Central Park. On IND, south of station is a huge flying "Y" junction with the 53rd St Line. This is also the start of the IND huge express run to 125th St. There is a central platform for the IND platform that hasn't been used for years. Recently a portion was re-opened to make a duck-under to transfer between the updown and downtown IRT platforms. No access is provided to board the IND trains however.
