Points of Interest This is one of the original 1904 IRT stations. It is an express station with 4 tracks and 2 island platforms. It is one of the unique stations as the entrances are via a headhouse in the median of Broadway. The original 1904 headhouse is still in use. More recently a modern headhouse was opened across the street. This was done as part of the platform expansion of this station which has notorious overcrowding at peak times.
