Right-of-Way Subway # of Tracks 4 trackways, 3 tracks
Street Location Esplanade & Pehlam Parkway Rail Transfers:

None

Platform Layout 2 island platforms Former Name(s)
Points of Interest Original NYW&B Railway station converted to IRT use
Uptown train departing. (10/04/13) Northbound platform looking north (10/04/13)
Looking south (10/04/13) This was the express track. MTA pulled it up a few years ago. The Southbound track is still in place (10/04/13)
Looking at these stairs, you can tell it doesn't match stairs on any IRT, or BMT or IND station. That is because it was built by the NYW&B. They used a lot of concrete in there line construction (10/04/13) Signage on the stairway (10/04/13)
The station entrance. Altough it has similarities to BMT station entrances in Brooklyn, it is 100% NYW&B. (10/04/13)
