Point of Interest Close to the Vermont St Station of the METRA Rock Island Line

The Blue Island branch leaves the mainline at Kensington. It is a single track line to Blue Island. The line ends across the street from the Vermont St station of the METRA Rock Island Line to Joliet (making for a nice circle trip). This line does not operate on Sundays.
