  CT New Haven 0   Shore Line East Commuter service.
  DC Washington DC 335   The famous DC Metro is a must visit. There is an extension to Dulles Airport under construction. Washington is also served by MARC and VRE commuter services.
  MD Baltimore 105   The Light Rail has proven successful. The Metro line has yet to achieve its full potential, but remains well used. The system is capped with MARC commuter trains.

 

MA Boston 130  
The "T" has everythings, subways, light rail, including streetcar sections, a line with PCC's, MBTA commuter rail and trolley buses..

  NJ Camden 31   This is a non-electrified Light rail line running
  NJ Jersey City 52   This is the growing Hudson-Bergen Light Rail line also serving Bayonne, Hoboken, Weehawken and North Bergen
  NJ Newark 199  
The Newark City subway is a great operation, extended and converted to LRV's in 2001. The airport operates a monorail.  
  NY Buffalo 7   This light rail system runs on the surface downtown and in subway beyond.
  NY New York City 1495   The largest transportation network in the US. Photo count includes NJ Transit Commuter
  PA Philadelphia 240  
SEPTA operates subways/Els, Light Rail and traditional streetcar, High-speed Interurbans, trolley busses, and commuter rail, WOW. Then there is the PATCO subway.
PA Pittsburgh 168 This city operates a modern Light Rail System with a downtown subway with planned extensions.
