Point of Interest |
Belmont is a very busy location for the Brown Line. Just north of this station the Brown Line diverges from the 4-track mainline onto its own 2-track 'L' to Kimball. Outbound trains must cross all 4 tracks at grade which can easily tie up rush hour Red and Purple Line trains. In 2008 the station renovation was completed with much wider platforms.
