Red Line

Boston Subway

The Red Line is the longest subway line in Boston. The line starts in Alewife, going through Cambridge, stopping at Harvard, then runs thru downtown. South of downtown it splits into two branches, one to Ashmont, the other to Quincy/Braintree. The Red Line seems to have the widest and biggest cars of the 3 Boston heavy rail lines.
