US Transit > Central > Las Vegas
The MAX (BRT)

Las Vegas

Las Vegas is a car oriented town. The city's transit system is trying to lure commuters to its bus system. They opened the MAX Line to help. It is a bus rapid transit line that runs from the downtown transit center north along Las Vegas Blvd towards Nellis AFB. It uses different busses from the rest of LV that have rail type features. The busses only stop at MAX Stations. The stations are elaborate for a bus. Tickets are Proof-of-payment with machines at the stations.
