Riverside Museum

Trams, Trains,  subways, boats & more

Glasgow, Scotland  (44 photos)

This is a great museum located along the river in Scotland. It is full indoors. It has street scenes from old Glasgow, including a horsecar and an “entrance” to the Glasgow Subway including the platform and a train. Everything is static.

The museum also has trams and steam trains on display. It has a nautical section. You could easily spend 2~3 hours here.

The museum is in Glasgow, about a 10~15 minute walk from the Partick Subway, train and bus station. The Glasgow city sightseeing bus stops right out front. There is also a carpark. The entrance fee is free!

All photos are from my one and only visit to the museum in September of 2016
