National TRamway  Museum

Crich, UK   (68 photos)

This is one of the world’s greatest tram museums. It has a huge collection of UK trams, plus international cars. There is a great demonstration tramway plus a quaint village area complete with the village pub. I would not consider someone a true tram enthusiast if they visit the UK and not go to this museum.

It is a bit out of the way in central England. It is accessible by public transport. There is a bus stop outside the museum, but no service on Sundays. I would highly recommend driving or taking a taxi from the nearest train station (Matlock).

All photos are from my one and only visit to the museum during a Parade of Trams day in September of 2017
