Canal Street Line

Canal Streetcar

The canel street line orginally operated from around the 1860 until 1964. The line was rebuilt and reopened in 2004. It runs about 5.5 miles in length with 2 branches. One to Cemeteries, the other to City Park/Museum. The Loyola-UPT Streetcar Line alos operates on part of the Canal Street Line in the downtown section.

The line uses modern 2000 series replica cars which are ADA accessible.
