McCarran International Airport is very
busy with its close proximity to the Strip. The Airport has 4 Concourses
A/B/C/D. C & D have people mover trains that link them to the main
terminal. The C-Concourse trains are only 2 car lengths as you can walk
to the outer gates. The D-Concourse Train is 3 car lengths, that are
also larger. This is because this is the only method to reach the remote
D-gates.
Both lines are typical airport
people-movers in that they run on rubber tires, are automated and use
electrical propulsion. There are a total of 4 trains, each on its on
unique track.
