The photos here are of the PATH and NY Subway lines that go underneath the WTC. The current status (as of 3/05) of the transit lines are:
  • PATH to re-started operations to Exchange Place in NJ June 2003. The WTC terminal re-opened in November 2003.
  • NY Subway 1,9 reopened south of Chambers St 9/02. All of the 7th Ave IRT (!,2,3,9) are running pre 9/11 services. The 1/9 route was totally rebuilt from just north of Cortlandt St to Rector. Cortlandt Street Station remains closed.
  • NY Subway N, R service is running, and Cortlandt St Station is open.
  • NY Subway E service is running to WTC, however the south entrance (former extremely busy WTC entrance), is not manned by a token booth.

We hope you will enjoy these photos, click any to enlarge.
