From March to April
2002 a special light show called the Tribute in Light was
created at the Ground Zero Site. It was created as a memorial
to the victims of the tragedy. Banks of 44 floodlights
illuminated the night sky in two very powerful upward beacons from
Ground Zero. They clearly represented the former towers.
