World Trade Center
The Oregon Connection

The WTC affected the entire world. I currently live in Oregon and was surprised to see how Oregonians have responded. First was seeing badges of emergency services in Oregon stapled to a firehouse doors near Ground Zero.

The second item was a group of Salem firefighters went back to NY in June 2002. The purpose was to pick up some scraps of the WTC to bring back to Salem to put in a fire memorial for a new Firefighters Training Center to be built in nearby Brooks.

We hope you will enjoy these photos, click any to enlarge.
