The Wilshire branch is a short 2 stop line from the mainline under Wilshire Blvd. Only Purple Line trains use this branch. The line was to continue west to Santa Monica. Red Rapid Busses now connect with the Wilshire Line to continue the journey to the Ocean. One can hope that someday this line will be extended.
