LA Subway

The subway may never see it original goals, but still provides a vital link in this region of the automobile. The stations, particularly on the newer North Hollywood extension are wonderful. Many have great artistic designs. The Subway is becoming a tourist attraction of it own.

There are 2 lines. The B Line (was the Red Line) starts at North Hollywood, joins the D Line (was Purple) line at Vermont for the run to Union Station. The D Line line starts at Wilshire/Western and runs to Union Station.

An extension of the D Line to the west is under construction. New subway cars are on order to replace the extisting cars.

It is a fun ride!
