This is a neat line that at one time ran through the heart of Catania on a single track center reservation. It went to the main train station and the port. The line makes a near complete circle around Mt. Etna. The line uses self-propelled diesel cars on narrow gauge tracks.

Now the line is cut back to Borgo. The underground Metro now brings passengers from this point on to the train station and the Port.
