Los Angeles |
The Expo line is the newest light rail line in Los Angeles. It starts in downtown LA at Metro Center along with the Blue line. It continues along the Blue to Pico. Soon after Pico it diverges to go by the university and eventually on the Exposition Blvd right-of-way. A good portion of this line is on ex-Pacific Electric Interurban line. The PR heritage is honored by impressions on the station platforms. The line since my visit was extended to Culver City, with further extensions in the works.
