Red Line

The Red line is an east-west light rail line that opened a few months after the Green Line opened to the south. The line stretches nearly 13 miles. Two services are operated on this line:  Tallaght to The Pointe and Saggart to Connelly. The Saggart line becomes a shuttle in evenings and weekend to Belgard, with the Connelly station closed at those times.

The Red Line runs through downtown Dublin just north of the Liffey River. It connects the two major railway stations for Dublin: Heuston and Connelly. The yards and shops for this line are located at Red Cow
