Amsterdam Tram

Trams cover most of the city center. There is a loop/tourist line (# 20) that makes it easy for tourists to visit the city. This is a great system. I am glad that the Dutch have keep their trams despite having a metro.

A route 1 train early Sunday morning. This was the first tram of the day at Centraal Station. (11/99 video.)	A route 5 train at Amstelveen Centrum. It has just turned off it's joint line with SnelTram route 51. (2/00 video.)
Route 5 at Suid WTC Station. Here transfer can be made with SnelTram routes 50/51 and NS Commuter Trains. (11/99)	2 Trams awaiting departure at Centraal Station. (6/99)
