Europe Transit > Germany > Munich

The Munich U-Bahn is a well designed system. There are 6 lines. There are basically 3 main trunk lines thru center city, with 2 branches at each end. This allows for frequent service where the high ridership is, and decent service on each end of each line. There are opportunities for cross platform transfer at some stations. The stations are efficient, and spacious.
