Points of Interest

Shinjuku station is considered the world's busiest train station. The JR station alone handles around 1.5 million passengers per day. Then add the Odakyu, Keio and 3 subway lines, the entire complex handles 3.4 million/day. Nearby Seibu Shinjuku stations adds another 185,000/day.

It is definitely a people watching spot. Rush hours are simply insane, especially the Yamanote and Chuo line platforms. It is also a station not for the timid. There are corridors everywhere, but not all are connected and the layout is confusing, even for locals.
