Points of Interest

This station is a terminal station for both JR and Keisei and is located directly underneath  Narita Airport. The station box was originally designed for an Airport Shinkansen line that was never built. Later Keisei branched off their line to Higashi-Narita to the new airport station. JR followed suit with a branch off of the Narita Line.

Both JR and Keisei offer premium express services from here to Tokyo. Keisei takes about 35~40 minutes to reach Nippori on the Yamanote Line with the Skyliner service, one of the fastest non-Shinkansen train services in Japan with top speed of 160 kmh. JR operates the NEX (Narita Express) which takes just under 1 hour to reach Tokyo Station. Both railways also have limited express services to Tokyo that don't require premium fares, but take much longer and are subject to regular commuters (Crowds).
