JR Kyoto Railway |
JR-West serves Kyoto as well as JR-Central trains. The hub of operations is of course at Kyoto station. Tokaido Shinkansen trains as well as Kintetsu trains serve this station as well. The Station itself is very modern and beautiful. A contrast of the old and beautiful shrines that ring Kyoto.
It is hard to fill out the Fact and Figures table to the JR lines of Tokyo. But I can tell you I have been on about 30% of the Nara line as well as the 100% Kyoto line between Kyoto and Osaka, and about 20% of the San'in Main Line
