Hakone Tozen

Hakone-Tozen operates between Gora and Hakone-Yumoto, with some trains continuing on to Odawara via dual-gauge track on the Odakyu line. This line has 3 switchbacks. It is a single track line with turnouts. The cars are very powerful to climb the steep grades and also braking systems to handle going back down the mountain.

It goes through some of the most beautiful mountain and rural scenery. It is a must ride.
