  CA Sacramento Sacramento RTD Expansions are under way.
  CA SF/Oakland SF BART  The new line to SFO is under construction.
  CA San Francisco SF MUNI The new Breda's are in operation, and the metro expansion continues.
  CA San Jose Altamont Commuter Express This is the newest Commuter Rail line in the US. It serves the Silicon Valley in San Jose and goes over Altamont Pass to where homes are.
  CA San Jose Santa Clara VTA The new extension to Mt. View is now open.
  CA Los Angeles Metrolink The very successful commuter operation for the LA Basin.
  CA Los Angeles LA MTA The subway line may not expand much further, but the rail lines are still vital to LA.
  CA San Diego San Diego Public Transit Costs may be higher then when the trolley first started, but it is still a first rate system!
NV Las Vegas Las Vegas Monorail   This new system is to open in 2004
  OR Portland Tri-MET East side "MAX" is crowded. The West side opened in 1998. Airport in 2001 Interstate in 2004.
  OR Salem Cherriots   My hometown bus system in the "Cherry" city of Oregon's Capitol.
  WA Seattle Sound Transit Online
Light rail and commuter rail has been approved.
  WA Seattle Seattle Monorail There are still talks of expansion.
