Website Updates

I try to update the Family website about every 4 months. Here is a list of updates since the family site went on the web over 5 years ago. The most recent changes are listed first.

2009

• Merged site into ktransit.com, but still "separate"

• Updating various pages to current status

2007

• Starting to do a site refresh in look mostly, some minor content adds

2006

• Minor updates, added Foster Dogs, Cinnamon & Flame Memorial

March 2005

• Made many little updates

August 2003

• Moved site to Comcast, still integrated with Ktransit.com

• Add Mark's Father to family page

• The OERHS pages have been moved to the new Trainweb Server. All of the main OERHS pages (OERM, WST, etc..) have been changed to automatically forward web browsers to the new location.
• Add a top navigation bar graphic for the web site.
• Add photos of the new Portland Westside Extension, including the tunnel to the Light Rail Photo page.
• Added photos of Hiroshima, Niigata & Kyoto Trams to the 
• Totally updated the Kavanagh Page including changing the family photos!
• Changed the photo on the Ghost of Nyack page
• Changed the Beer in Japan page to allow more general Japan photos and stories to be added.
• Adjusted the Family Links Page.

• Every OERHS piece of rolling stock now has its own web page, most have pictures. Added: Trolley Bus 604, Steeple Cabs 351 & 401, PCC's, Spaghetti Factory 911.
• Added updated Car barn construction & completion pictures to the Museum News page.
• Added a Western Antique Powerland page.
• Changed the Rail Picture page. Added Photo pages for Subways, Light rail/Trolleys, US Railroads, Asia Railroads, Railroad museums. The latter 3 do not have pictures yet.
• Updated and refined many of the other web pages.

5/98

• Major reconstruction. Nearly all of the OERHS, OERM, & WST pages have been totally redone with a sidebar navigator. Several sub-pages have been added.
• Added a NW Traction History Page.

• The Site update information page was added (This page)
• The index page was changed to be the Kavanagh/OERHS Launch Page.
• The OERHS Home Page was modified to be a launch page the OERHS activities
• Willamette Shore Trolley page was overhauled.
• Many major tweaks to all the pages on the site.

• A new page on the Ghost of Nyack was added.
• An on-line membership application was added for the Oregon Electric Railway Historical Society.
• The OERHS equipment page was updated and font color was changed.
• Some other minor tweaks were done.
• Web counters added to nearly all the pages.
