Until the new extension was completed, all PCC were stored an service at Penn Station. With the extension opened, and LRV's in service, a new yards a shops was built at the end of the extension at Grove St. Much better to repair and store cars. 

The LRVs were built by Kinki Sharyo of Japan nearly identical to the ones used on the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail. Some of the cars have had an additional section added to increase passenger capacity.
