Public Service # 6

NJ Transit did a wonderful thing to help celebrate the retirement of the PCC's. They  repainted PCC # 6 into the public Service paint scheme. This was the first paint scheme these cars had after arriving from Minneapolis in the 1950's. (The cars were built by St. Louis Car in the late 1940's for the Twin Cities). They even worked on the interior. The car ran in regular service for the last week of PCC operation. What a great send off tribute!
