DC Streetcar

The DC Streetcar finally opened in 2016, but not in its original intended location. The current line on H Street was supposed ot a part of a 5 line network. It is doubtful that will ever occur. However, an extension to the east along Benning Road is under construction to link with the Benning Road metro stop. This will allow for better connections in the corridor.
