US East Transit >Washington DC Metro

DC Metro

This is a unique station as it is on 2 levels within the same vaulted ceiling. The reason it to allow a flying junction for the Blue and Orange lines to go their different ways just south/west of the station. Outbound trains are on the lower level. This station also contain a very long set of escalators. There is an elevator that goes from mezzanine/inbound platform level to the street. Fare collection for the elevator is on the platform level.
