Phoenix Skyharbor airport opened a new people mover system that links Terminal 4 with the economy parking lots and to Phoenix Metro Light Rail station at 44th Street. The Rubber tired trains soar over the taxiway between Terminal 4 and the parking garages. The line then ducks under the taxiway between Terminal 4 and 3, before ending at Termainal 3 with a walkway to Terminal 2. There are plans to extend the line to the Rental Car Center.
