Geneva

Geneva is the second largest city by population in Switzerland. It lies in the french speaking part of the country and sits right at the border. It is a global city for finance and has the HQ for many agencies of the United Nations. The city is served by a diverse transit network consisting of Trams, Trolleybuses, bues and commuter rail.

This section of the website is dedicated to fellow railfan and friend, Ron Yee. He passed away in late 2021. He and I along with my wife and his, went to Geneva together following a bus convention in France. Ron and  I railfanned the entire tram network in place during our visit. We had a great time in the city. Raon anbd I interested went beyond trains, they also included cruising, Star Trek and the NY Mets. The photo to the right was taken on a tourist "train" in Geneva. He will be missed.
