The commuter rail network complements the T-Bana Metro network for Stockholm. The SJ Commuter trains are called Pendeltag. 2 older interurban routes come under Commuter Rail tag, The Saltsjobanen out of Slussen station and the Roslagsban out of Stockholm East Station..

To go to the airport you can use the Pendeltag commuter trains or the Arlanda Express. The Express is much more expensive, but makes muliple stops at the airport. The commuter train only makes one stop. Just be forewarned that if you take the commuter train, you may have a bit of a walk from the station to check-in depending on which terminal your flying from. For me it was a 15~20 minute walk dragging suitcases. The Arlanda Express would have been 5 minutes. but still hard to justify the cost.
