DART/Commuter Rail

Dublin

The commuter network for Dublin comprises of the electrified DART north-south line, as well as a few radial DMU equipped commuter lines.

There is plan to electrify some off these lines to make an integrated DART network. This includes a subway thru central Dublin. DART runs about every 15 minutes during the day, the other commuter lines less often. More trains runs on all lines during Rush Hours.

The DART line is a beautiful way to visit the Irish coast with the line running a stone throw away from the water at times.
