Strasbourg is an easy day trip from Paris via the TGV. It is an extensive system including one of the fre cross country border tram lines. Line D crosses the Rhine into Kehl Germany. Homme de Fer is the hub of the sytem with 5 of the 6 lines crossing here. There is always a tram in sight.
