Line 11

Paris Metro

Line 11 up until Line 14 opened was the last metro built, it is also rather short at 6.3 km, and does not go thru Paris, it ends at Chatelet. This line was the first line converted to rubber tires because of its length and steep inclines. Based on these tests rubber tired trains were expanded to routes 1, 4 & 6.
